About the event
International Experts will discuss; aspects of and workup for bariatric surgery; the disease processes and societal consequences of obesity; the impact of obesity on the cardiovascular, respiratory system and on the pharmacology of anaesthetic drugs.
Further lectures will cover airway management, PONV, analgesia and anaesthesia strategies - pulling the theoretical and practical aspects together. The meeting will conclude with a complex case discussion and finish with an interactive self-assessment quiz.
Registration of this event will open on Thursday 8th February and close on Monday 20th May.
Onsite registration may be possible. To secure your spot, pre-registration is recommended.
Proof of age or trainee status will be required on the day. Membership of SOBA or ESPCOP will be checked.
