Join us the day before Euroanaesthesia 2024 for a pre-congress course covering the fundamental points of anaesthesia in obesity.
International Experts will discuss; aspects of and workup for bariatric surgery; the disease processes and societal consequences of obesity; the impact of obesity on the cardiovascular, respiratory system and on the pharmacology of anaesthetic drugs.
Further lectures will cover airway management, PONV, analgesia and anaesthesia strategies - pulling the theoretical and practical aspects together. The meeting will conclude with a complex case discussion and finish with an interactive self-assessment quiz.
